  4. REM Sleep: REM stands for Rapid Eye Movement, and it is the stage of sleep where we do the majority of our dreaming. During REM sleep, our brain activity increases, and our eyes move rapidly back and forth.

Each sleep cycle lasts for around 90 minutes, and we typically go through four to six cycles each night.

  5. Get regular exercise: Regular exercise can help improve the quality of your sleep, but be sure to avoid exercising too close to bedtime, as this can actually make it harder to fall asleep.
