No Pressure Weight Loss
Don’t worry, it’s not what you think. Robyn separates herself from the quick-weight-fix and rapid diets that have taken over the nutrition narrative in recent days. Instead, she promotes a common sense, no pressure method of weight loss.
After the birth of her first child, Robyn experienced monumental shifts in her lifestyle and body. Rather than stress about these changes, she made the decision to not put any pressure on herself. Simple as that. She ate when she needed to, moved her body when it felt good, and concentrated on enjoying all of the firsts with her newborn. Naturally over time, a year to be exact, her body let the weight go and she was back to her pre-baby weight. Robyn knows the road to her ideal weight would have been much more rocky and difficult if she had put pressure on herself and stressed about the weight loss.
Thin From Within
Now, that all sounds great, but HOW did she do it? She listened to her body. Robyn believes that if you give your body what it needs when it needs it, you’ll stay healthy, alert, and shave off those extra pounds. Check in every once in a while and ask your body what it needs. Is it a bath? Or maybe a home cooked meal? Your body will tell you.
Robyn’s new book, Thin From Within, discusses how mindset and listening to your body will get you the body you’ve always hoped for. It’s not about rigorous exercise or strict diet, but rather about giving your body what it needs when it needs it.
